Friday, July 25, 2: Windows Vista is not included. Even on adaptec when you look at the legacy drivers it is the same driver package for each OS windows for both controllers. Before moving on, please remove the Windows bit driver since it is not designed for Windows Vista.

After double checking Adaptec Official website, I found strange information: Tonight I will be changing the order of the adapters to see if this chnages anything. Rebooting the system returns the device to a cannot start state. You can also choose to unmark the answer as you wish.
Windows Vista IT Pro. Office Office Exchange Server. But my other adaptec scsi raid s gives error that device cannot be started.
Do you received any detail error message when the device cannot be started. Microsoft does not guarantee the accuracy of this information. Can anybody at MS help or know what to do about this??
